Guide
The full cost of CMMC certification.
Tuition is only part of what you will pay. Every candidate also pays ISACA an exam fee and an application fee, and most training prices leave those out. Here is the whole bill, itemized, using our planned launch pricing.
The itemized bill
CCP: full cost
| Cost item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Course tuition (planned launch pricing) | $1,395 |
| ISACA exam fee, member | $575 |
| ISACA exam fee, non-member | $760 |
| ISACA application fee | $200 |
| Estimated total, CCP | $2,170 to $2,355 |
The total depends on whether you are an ISACA member at exam time. The exam voucher is not included in tuition. Exam and application fees are paid directly to ISACA.
CCA: full cost
| Cost item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Course tuition (planned launch pricing) | $1,595 |
| ISACA exam fee, member | $575 |
| ISACA exam fee, non-member | $760 |
| ISACA application fee | $200 |
| Estimated total, CCA | $2,370 to $2,555 |
CCA requires CCP first, so most CCA candidates have already paid the CCP costs above in an earlier step.
CCP + CCA pathway: full cost
| Cost item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Pathway tuition, both courses (planned launch pricing) | $2,690 |
| ISACA exam fees, two exams, member | $1,150 |
| ISACA exam fees, two exams, non-member | $1,520 |
| ISACA application fees, two applications | $400 |
| Estimated total, CCP + CCA | $4,240 to $4,610 |
Each credential carries its own exam fee and application fee, both paid directly to ISACA. The exam vouchers are not included in tuition.
Why headline prices mislead
The tuition number is never the whole number.
Most providers advertise tuition alone. The ISACA exam fee ($575 for members, $760 for non-members) and the $200 application fee sit on top of it, every time, no matter whose course you buy. On a typical course, that is $775 to $960 a candidate still owes after paying tuition, which is why two courses that look far apart in price can end up close in total, and why the cheapest headline is not always the cheapest path.
Some providers bundle an exam voucher into their price and some do not, which makes side by side comparisons even harder. The only fair comparison is the full total, so that is the number we publish.
Ask before you pay
Questions for any provider.
- Is an exam voucher included in this price, or do I pay ISACA separately?
- What is my full total, tuition plus exam and application fees?
- How long do I keep course access?
- How much direct instructor time is included, in hours?
- What happens if I do not pass my first exam attempt?
- Are practice exams included, or sold separately?
